Tartu Christmas City welcomes all Tartu residents and guests to spend a festive time from the First Advent Sunday until Epiphany.
For the holiday season, the beloved Christmas City with its glass pavilions is reopened on Tartu Town Hall Square, featuring hot mulled wine and gingerbread sellers, children's favorite straw house, a swing and carousels, a sparkling Christmas chandelier, and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Workshops and cartoon screenings take place in the pavilions as well.

Until March, you can also ice skate on Tartu Town Hall Square. Around the Kissing Students fountain, an ice rink is open for practicing pirouettes and enjoying the city sparkling with lights.
