Every December, Tartu's Winter Folk Dance Day brings hundreds of folk dancers to the town square.

The program is full of traditional dances, and audience members are welcome to join in the fun. On this special day, swirling, colorful striped skirts, rosy red cheeks, and live music bring Christmas joy to the Town Hall Square.

The dancing feet won't stop there! Tartu's Winter Folk Dance Day continues with at the Gunpowder Cellar, the pub with the highest ceiling in the world.
